Stripes can be fun to wear. What a boring world it would be if there would be all solids and safe patterns. Just picture it, streets full of pedestrians wearing nothing but safe patterns, cautiously paring them with solids and expected textures. 

We would wave goodbye to such wonderful designers, who are known for plaids and stripes combination. 

There is one simple rule to keep in mind for women who dress. When choosing a bigger, brazen plaids, balance out by pairing of a stripe by choosing finer, smaller lines. The rule works back-to-front - the more pronounced the stripe, the more precious the plaid should be.
